904 Bridge Boat Landing in Pireway, North Carolina
The Pireway Paddlefest is an annual event for
both serious seasoned and first-time fun competitors. The event is
organized to generate interest in The Waccamaw River in the Pireway, North Carolina area.

Also, the Waccamaw Siouan Indians will be performing
their heritage dances and storytelling.
Lunch and drinks will be provided to all participants at
no charge.
There will be three races with two classes in each race:
Races begin at 11:30 am
Long Race for Kayaks Pro Class and
Recreational Class
Distance is 10 miles, starting and ending at the 904 Bridge Boat
Landing in Pireway, NC.
Short Race
for Kayaks Pro Class and Recreational Class
Distance is 5 miles, starting and ending at the 904

Short Race for Canoes Pro
and Recreational Class
Distance is 5 miles, starting and ending at the 904

Trophy Awards
Each race is open to all ages. Long & short races: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
in each class;
The awards presentation and photos of the winners will be at about 2:00
p.m
